If you have so much text to show that you use a “continued” slide, you’re showing too much text! But as presenters we want our audiences to completely understand what we’re talking about. How can we get around the problem?

These slides were from a deck used for training customer agents at Ultimate Software. Although these kinds of troubleshooting questions are vital for getting to the root of customers’ problems, it’s a lot for an audience to take in.
After a little sleuthing, I discovered that it wasn’t the questions themselves but the fact that they exist that was the most important message.
After
Converting the text into a graphic demonstrates to the audience that it’s not important to read it. The graphic shows customer agents that there is a specific troubleshooting process they must follow while they’re interacting with customers.
